NEET Application Form Resistration 2016 Check Latest News – Apply Online  :  The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is a entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves. However, many colleges and institutes have taken a stay order and conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.

Earlier the NEET (previously known as AIPMT)was conducted only once for taking admission in Any graduate medical course but due to certain but due to certain controversies about NEET the Supreme Court has decided on holding the NEET in two phases –  NEET I  and   NEET II.  The NEET Phase 1 was conducted on May 1, and the second phase is scheduled on July 24.   The second phase is only for students who did not register for AIPMT (NEET phase 1) exam.  The Supreme Court has also announced that the candidates who have appeared in NEET-I and they again want to re-appear in NEET-II, their NEET-I Score will not be considered, i.e. their selection or dis-selection will be totally based on NEET-II Score.  The result of both the Phases i.e NEET I and NEET II will be declared on 17 August 2016The process of online application for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (NEET) will begin  from 26th May, 2016 the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Wednesday.  The online application could be submitted on website  This test will be applicable for admissions to the All India Quota seats, State Government Quota seats where the State Government concerned so opts and Private, Management or NRI Quota seats in all Private Medical and Dental Colleges or any Private or Deemed University.

Important Dates  :

  • First Stage NEET i.e NEET Phase I                             :   01st May, 2016
  • NEET-II Online Registration Commencement          :   26th May, 2016
  • NEET-II Exam 2016 Date                                            :   24th July, 2016
  • NEET Phase I & Phase II Result Declaration Date   :   17th August,  2016
  • NEET 2016 Counselling till                                           :   30th September, 2016.
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (NEET) :-
  • Total examination is conducted for 720 marks
  • There is no 12th standard weightage in the exam; only NEET 2 marks are only calculated in final result
  • This year total 29 states are participating in the state, so appearing candidates in the exam number will drastically change
  • Students who scored marks between 300 to 330 marks will be declared as qualifying persons for counseling but cut off marks will highly change.
  • There is no guarantee that students who attend for NEET 2 counseling will get seats; it will depend upon the cut off marks
  • After announcing results, they will give national wide ranks and state wise ranks. Students who want to join in their particular state can attend for counseling through state wise ranks, or else they can attend with counselling with nation wise ranks in other states
  • Up to now AIPMT has given 15% quota for all states except AP, Telangana and Jammu Kashmir. This year they can change this number.

NEET phase II eligibility criteria  :-

Age limit  :   The age of the Candidates should be as follows –

  • 17 to 25 years for general category
  • 30 years for OBC/SC/ST.

Qualification  :  Candidates should be 12th passed from a Recognized Board in the streams of physics, biology, and chemistry.
